Jennie Petersson Regional Partner (Devon & Cornwall)
With over 25 years of experience in the property industry, Jennie’s expertise spans sales, lettings, management and relocation, developed in both prime city and coastal markets including Bristol, Exeter and Truro. Since relocating from London to Devon in 2014, Jennie has focused exclusively on helping clients secure homes in this part of the country, drawing on a strong network of contacts and years of regional knowledge.
Jennie is known for her calm, detail-driven approach and ability to manage searches with clarity and discretion. She has successfully advised on property acquisitions totalling tens of millions across Devon and Cornwall, from discreet coastal retreats to characterful countryside homes.
Now firmly embedded in the local property landscape, Jennie is a well-established presence in Devon and Cornwall, respected by clients and professionals alike for her diligence, integrity and results-focused approach.
She lives with her family in Devon and enjoys making the most of the area’s natural beauty. Outside work, she can often be found walking on Dartmoor, exploring the coastline or cooking for friends.
Danny Rowland (Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, West Sussex)
Danny is a highly experienced buying agent who has spent the past decade advising private clients across the southern counties. Since joining Garrington in 2015, he has acquired a wide variety of properties, from country estates and manor houses to family relocations, downsizing moves and holiday homes. He has successfully acquired a number of prime properties, exceeding £5 million, off-market.
Before moving into property full-time, Danny worked as a fund manager in the City while building his own property portfolio. In 2010, he established a property search and development business, overseeing projects from targeted refurbishments to the construction of multi-million-pound developments.
He brings a clear and methodical approach to each search, supported by strong market knowledge and a well-established network of contacts. For clients considering improvements or development potential, his background in building and renovation adds an extra layer of insight.
Clients value Danny’s straightforward communication, focus, and calm determination. Whether the brief is simple or more complex, he works with care and persistence to ensure the right result. Danny has lived with his family in Hampshire for 18 years. He has a great knowledge of the area from the towns and villages, to the schools, the pubs, and the best walks. Outside of work, he can be found renovating his Georgian home, walking the dog, on the side of a cricket pitch, or (ideally) skiing.
Nick King Regional Partner (Bristol & Bath)
With over 40 years of experience in the property industry, Nick is an established and respected figure in buying consultancy and relocation. His career spans estate agency, property development, and senior relocation roles, including over 15 years as the BBC’s internal relocation specialist.
Nick joined Garrington in 2009, bringing clarity, discretion and his local market knowledge to each search. His work has included sourcing investment apartments in city centres and securing substantial country homes and multi-million-pound estates, all handled with the calm assurance that comes from decades of experience.
Nick is a qualified member of the National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA).He continues to be actively involved in industry initiatives and has spoken at major UK and international forums including the CBI, Employee Relocation Council, and the European Association of Relocation Professionals.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys golf, scuba diving, and time with his family. He lives in the South West with his wife and is a proud father and grandfather to four granddaughters.
Amy Proctor Regional Partner (Somerset)
Amy helps clients find and secure homes, land, and investment opportunities across Somerset. Drawing on nearly two decades of experience in the property industry, she offers clear, practical advice and local insight to support every stage of the search.
With a strong understanding of acquisition strategy, planning policy, design, and development, Amy brings a grounded and experienced perspective to each brief. As a Chartered Planning and Development Surveyor, Amy delivered design-led homes and placemaking projects for leading residential developers across London and the South West. Alongside her professional background, she has personal experience acquiring and managing holiday lets, investment properties, and development land, including listed buildings and sites with complex planning or legal issues.
Now living in a listed farmhouse in Somerset with her young family and dog, Amy knows the area intimately. Over the years, she has built a strong local network of trusted contacts, from agents and architects to surveyors, planners, and solicitors, who can bring opportunities to access early and off-market properties.
Amy’s knowledge of Somerset and her enthusiasm for helping people settle here are central to her approach. She is always happy to share her favourite places to eat, visit, stay, and explore, helping her clients feel genuinely at home in the county.
Jonathan Hopper Chief Executive
Jonathan has an enviable track record of success spanning 20 years in the property and relocation industry. As Chief Executive Officer of Garrington, he leads a company that has represented numerous clients in multi-million pound transactions and in turn developed a respected industry profile, through the strategic growth of a market leading brand.
Jonathan is a Director on the Board of The Property Ombudsman, a Council Member of the UK’s Association of Relocation Professionals and is a former National Council Member of the NAEA.
He is frequently called upon as an authoritative voice for market insights with articles published in The Financial Times, Canary Wharf and City magazines, The Sunday Time and Bloomberg.
A past recipient of the ‘Best UK Property Finder’ award, he is continuously striving to hone his skills having completed leadership programmes at Cranfield Management School and an MBA at Ashcroft International Business School in Cambridge.
As a prominent creative thinker and entrepreneurial problem solver, Jonathan is passionate about working with clients, and enjoys exploring the driving forces that push successful businesses to their highest potential.
Nicholas Finn Managing Director
Nicholas Finn is London born and bred. With a property career spanning over a decade, he worked in prime London locations from St Johns Wood to Chiswick with one of the capital’s largest sales agents, before channelling his entrepreneurial flair into establishing his own estate agency in a sought-after part of London.
Prior to joining Garrington, Nicholas founded and ran an asset management company. It served corporate institutions and their private clients looking to sell, relocate or add to their portfolios. Nicholas leads and supports a growing team whilst using his experience and extensive contacts to generate exclusive opportunities for clients. He lives in London with his wife and young family.
John Adamson Executive Chairman
John has worked in the property sector for the last 25 years and has director level experience in residential sales, letting and management, estate management and development. Most recently he was Managing Director and majority shareholder of one of largest estate and letting agents in the Eastern region which he successfully sold to a FTSE 250 organisation.
He holds an MBA from The Open University and is a well-respected entrepreneurial leader with an eye for detail, who thrives on the creation of customer-focused companies, where success becomes a by-product of excellence.
Nadia Parkinson New Business Manager
Growing up in the historical town of Windsor, from a young age Nadia has always appreciated character properties and the quirkiness and history that they offer. For over 5 years, Nadia had the opportunity to live on the West Coast, USA and developed a love for a different type of build; newer, more spacious and with such innovative architecture.
With a varied background in client supporting roles including property sales, lettings and recruitment, Nadia builds on a successful career by now creating new relationships and nurturing long-standing valued clients alike.
In her personal time, Nadia enjoys being active, following on from a semi-professional gymnastics past, as well as spending time with her large extended Italian family cooking, eating and enjoying each other’s company.
Hannah Roberts New Business Administrator
Growing up in the Devonshire countryside, her parents love of property and renovation has been passed down. Hannah has relocated many times throughout the UK and has worked in leading real estate firms in different parts of the country, helping her to understand the intricacies of relocating.
After finishing her education and on completing University, she spent her early twenties riding horses and pursuing a professional career in grooming. She revisited her passion for property more recently; and has since sought a new challenge by joining Garrington to support the Head Office team, helping potential new clients who are considering engaging a property finder.
In her free time, Hannah enjoys her passion for the countryside, exploring with her two dogs and taking regular trips back to Devon to visit her family.
Jane Ramsay Client Services Administrator
Growing up in the Cheshire countryside on the edge of the Peak District, Jane has always had an appreciation for restored, character properties in idyllic surroundings.
Jane began her career in publishing. Having worked on county magazines for 14 years, Jane developed a hard-earned reputation for providing a dedicated and professional support to clients. She diligently built relationships with discerning customers and brings a wealth of Administration experience to her role at Garrington. Joining the Head Office team, Jane provides a solid and trusted support as part of Client Services.
After several of her own moves across Cheshire, she understands the importance of a smooth buying journey. Outside of work, Jane volunteers at a local animal rescue charity. A keen runner, she also enjoys creating nutritious meals for her family.
