Garrington has a national team of handpicked experts, carefully selected from across the property industry for their proven negotiation skills, extensive experience, local specialist insight and enviable network of contacts.

As an organisation we offer over 120 years combined experience, yet a dynamic and relationship focused approach to successfully sourcing and acquiring the finest property and surpassing client expectations.

All of Garrington’s search consultants live and work in the regions they serve. Without exception they all have a minimum of five years industry experience and extensive contacts to assist clients.

Rod Tabor

Rod TaborRod has worked within the property and construction industry for the past twenty five years. He joined Garrington in 2002, with responsibility for the South West Region. Having previously lived in Hampshire, Rod moved to Devon in 2000. During this period he has built up an enviable network of contacts which enables him to offer the best service to his clients looking to secure that "bespoke" property.

Rod spent many successful years in construction through the Middle East and Africa eventually running his own property development business in the UK working on both private and commercial schemes.

Rod's experience in developing and renovating property proves invaluable in providing clients with advice when they are looking to purchase and add capital value to their property.

Rod brings a wealth of experience to the buying process and as one of his clients has said he was “diplomacy personified, in prompting us to work out what we really wanted”. Turning what is the vision of a client’s perfect property into reality is one of Rod’s strengths and one which gives him the greatest job satisfaction.

Mark Gedye

Mark GedyeMark was born in Bath and raised in the West Country, before moving on to University to gain a degree in Business Administration and a Masters degree in Human Resource Management. Graduation led to a move to London and a successful career as a senior manager with a global consulting firm. During his many years in the consulting industry, he developed many skills essential to property finding, such as understanding clients needs, attention to detail, problem solving, finance and budgetting, all underpinned by maintaining high standards at all times.

During his time in London, Mark developed a passion for property which led to the development of his own portfolio of properties. A number of years ago his desire to return to the West Country was fulfilled by settling in Bristol. This led to a change of career too and the setting up of a Property Finder business based in Bristol, with coverage across the South West. After a number of successful years operating in the area, Mark decided to join Garrington to build on his local expertise and experience of the Bristol, Bath and Somerset markets. Mark has an extensive and valuable network of contacts, which enables him to offer the best and most complete service for buyers looking to secure a property in the area.

A keen runner, cyclist and lover of the outdoors, Mark uses his hobbies as a way of exploring his local area and can often be found whiling away the hours pedalling through the towns, villages and hills(!) of the region, taking in properties on his way.

Support Team

Jennifer Mullucks, Search Assistant

Jennifer MullucksJennifer was born and raised in The Netherlands where she spent the larger part of her life. After finishing her degree in Tourism, Jennifer worked as an event organizer for several years and thereafter as the PA to the Global Advertising Director of Adidas based in Amsterdam. In this time she gained a wealth of experience honing her administrative, operational and organizational skills.

In 1999 she was ready for a new challenge and decided to relocate to London. Her first job was in the property industry and after realizing it was something she was passionate about, Jennifer worked for several prime London estate agencies in Hammersmith, Kensington and Pimlico. After some time managing the lettings department of a large estate agency, she moved to Cambridge with her family and continued her career in the property industry by joining Garrington in 2008.

Initially, Jennifer worked as a search consultant, however after returning from maternity leave she is now responsible for all client service related matters from initial enquiry to client after care. Furthermore Jennifer gives support to the associates and the administration department where needed.

Jennifer is fluent in Dutch and speaks several other languages including French and German. In her pass time she enjoys travelling and spending time with her young family.

Lynne West, Operations Manager

Lynne WestThroughout her career Lynne has worked mainly in the areas of Office Management, Event Management and Customer Service. In this time she gained experience being a PA at board level, organising trade shows and heading up a customer service team.

After nearly 20 years working mainly in the Telecommunications industry, Lynne decided that it was time for a new challenge. In 2009 the opportunity arose to join the Garrington team in a key role as an Operations Assistant. With a wealth of administrative experience coupled with extensive customer service skills, Lynne ensures that the operational side of Garrington runs smoothly and efficiently. As an important linchpin of the organisation, Lynne’s support to the management team and network of associates is invaluable.

When not at work, Lynne enjoys spending time with her family and is an active committee member of her son’s football and cricket clubs.

Alexandra Nicol, Operations Assistant

Alexandra NicolAfter successfully graduating with a triple Distinction in Hospitality, Alexandra worked at a privately owned country house as an events coordinator, gaining a wealth of experience for the planning and organising of important corporate and private events. It did not take long before a natural affiliation and appreciation of the architecture of the building became the beginning of her journey into the property sector, and it soon became the natural choice to join Garrington.

Alexandra’s comprehensive understanding of customer service, excellent organisational skills and an eye for detail enables her to carry out a pivotal role, to ensure that client searches are supported to the highest possible standard.

Away from work Alexandra’s hobbies include baking, walking her dogs, fly fishing in Scotland, reading and eating out.
